Kicking Off the 2nd Semester
Good morning,
I hope all of our Deer Park Jr/Sr High School families had a chance to relax and enjoy a well-deserved break over the last two weeks! We're excited to get back into the swing of things soon and, before we do, we wanted to send a quick reminder to all Deer Park Jr/Sr High School families regarding our learning models and schedules for tomorrow and the following weeks.
Yesterday, our district released an update to schedule for the next few weeks ahead. Here is a link to that information.
Additionally, as we start back with our hybrid model this week, I wanted to let you know that we're asking our teachers to focus on building and rebuilding the important relationships with our students. Many of our students have not been in-person since late October, and some of our students haven't been in-person since last March! Our goal this next week (and moving forward) is to help our students get back into a comfortable learning environment so that their learning can thrive.
