REMINDER: License Renewal Due March 1
There is just over one week remaining to submit license renewals! All licenses expire March 1, 2024, pursuant to Chapter 4749.03 of the Ohio Revised Code. Providers must renew their license and qualifying agent(s) prior to March 1, 2024, at midnight. If your license expires, you cannot provide services, advertise, or solicit business; and all registered employees will be terminated. If you have not already done so, please submit your license renewal application.
As many of you notified us, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) is still experiencing issues providing the “Homeland Security Letter” to licensees. The instructions for obtaining the letter remain the same:
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) can be contacted by phone, (614) 466-2319. You will then select “Option 3” and “Option 3” again. This will either place you in a call queue or allow you to schedule a return call from the agency (Eastern Time). You can also contact them online via a ConnectOhio request here. Under “Your Inquiry”, there is a field, “Please choose the category that best matches why you are contacting us.” In the dropdown menu, please select, “Private Investigative Letter Request”.
Please do not wait to submit your renewal until after you have obtained the ODJFS letter. You may upload a Word document stating you are working on obtaining the letter in the required field of the application. Once you obtain the letter you can upload it and your renewal will be processed.
