License Renewal Season is Underway!
COMPANY LICENSE RENEWAL PERIOD JANUARY 2, 2023 TO MARCH 1, 2023
All licenses expire March 1, 2023, pursuant to Chapter 4749.03 of the Ohio Revised Code. All company providers must renew their license and qualifying agent(s) prior to March 1, 2023 at midnight.
The license renewal guide can be found on the PISGS website under the Licensed Company Resources section. https://homelandsecurity.ohio.gov/private-investigators-and-security-guards/licensed-company-resources/company-license-renewal. The user guide can be downloaded and saved for reference when working on your renewal application.
Please be advised the online database works best using Chrome, Edge or Firefox. Internet Explorer is no longer supported.
If your license expires, you can’t provide services, advertise, or solicit business; and all registered employees are terminated.
If you closed your business in 2022, please send PISGS a letter indicating the date the business was closed.
