Incorrect Social Security Numbers
PISGS has noticed an increase in social security numbers entered incorrectly in applications as well as BCI/FBI fingerprints. This can result in significant delays in the registration process, cost of additional BCI fingerprints or even a denied application.
Suggestions:
- If the company is reading social security numbers from handwritten information and it isn’t legible, please verify with the individual before submitting it to PISGS.
- When an individual has completed their fingerprinting, they should verify their social security number and other information was entered correctly.
