Reminder: When submitting fingerprints for background checks, verify the WebCheck location has your Social Security Number (SSN) correct.

Also, be sure that the results are electronically direct copied to "PISGS - Department of Public Safety" and indicate the reason for the background check is "ORC 4749.06 - Private Investigator/Security Guard."

If the SSN is incorrect or the results were not sent to PISGS, your registration application will not be approved.

You will then need to re-submit fingerprints and pay the fee a second time.
