In order to begin quickly implementing the Ohio Task Force on Community-Police Relations’ recommendations, Gov. Kasich created the Ohio Collaborative Community-Police Advisory Board in April 2015 to continue taking feedback from the public and report annually on its work and the compliance of local law enforcement agencies.  The community-law enforcement advisory panel developed – for the first time in Ohio history – state standards that can help guide Ohio law enforcement agencies.
