SOUTH SIDE MEGA FIX  PROJECT UPDATE

Here's the latest on the ramp that's currently closed at Greenlawn Ave.
and some upcoming changes to I-71 NB near Stringtown Rd. to help alleviate congestion.

I-71 NB at Greenlawn Avenue

• The ramp from Greenlawn Ave. to I-71 NB will reopen by 5 AM Monday, Sept. 24.
• By Monday morning, all NB lanes of I-71 between Greenlawn Ave. and I-70 will be shifted to the right. This will allow crews to work on the median lanes.

I-71 NB at Stringtown Road and I-270

• Starting Saturday morning, weather permitting, the left lane of I-71 NB will NO LONGER end at Stringtown Road.
• The TWO left lanes will be for I-71 NB thru traffic and the right lane will be exit only to I-270.
• Morning commuters that normally use the Stringtown Road entrance ramp to I-71 NB should consider using SR 665 to I-71 NB as an alternate route.
• Taking SR 665 to I-71 NB will put drivers in the two thru lanes to the left of the barrier wall instead of the single lane to the right of the wall.
• Crews will also extend the merge length on the ramp from I-270 WB to I-71 NB. This work will be complete by Saturday, weather permitting.
