ODOT District 2 to Host Summer Seasonal Job Fair
Interested people encouraged to apply online in advance
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 2 is in search of seasonal highway technicians for the upcoming summer.
Job fair attendees will be able to apply for a summer seasonal position, have a driving record check completed, take a required physical abilities test, and interview for the position.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent; a valid class A or B commercial driver’s license (CDL), without air brake restriction; and three months of training or experience in basic equipment operation.
The highway technician position includes roadway maintenance and repair activities such as crack sealing, tree trimming, culvert repairs, and maintenance of traffic.
