Ubuntu session 1 of 2026 info

Dear Community leaders, Partners and Friends,

The Department of Neighborhoods will host its first 2026 session of the “Ubuntu Series: Unity Conversations Across Cultures” this week. The theme this time around is “Columbus’ Black Diaspora: United we stand, divided we fall.”

In commemoration of Black History month, this session will be held with a goal to honor the cultural legacy and diversity of our Black Diaspora Comunities. We remain grateful to those of you who have been a part of these conversations and continue to help shape each event. For this next session, we look forward to welcoming you and others who have yet to show up and enjoy the experience. Please register to secure your seat by clicking here or scanning the QR code on the flyer. The earlier you complete your registration, the better.

We will have Ms. Suzan Kounta, President/Artistic Director, Thiossane Institute as one of our special guests and you do not want to miss it!

When: Thursday, February 12, 2026

Where: 1111 East Broad St., Columbus, OH, 43205

Time: 5:00pm to 7:30pm
