Advocacy in Action: Gender Identity Inclusion

You are invited to attend a free half-day advocacy forum focused on how to identify and address gender identity discrimination. This no-cost half day forum provides insightful discussions and workshops for social workers, advocates, and residents regarding how to identify gender identity discrimination and how to address it. Registration is limited to 75 individuals. Light breakfast, lunch, and parking is provided.

The event is hosted by the Columbus Community Relations Commission will take place on Thursday, October 31 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Columbus Museum of Art.

The Commission is the City of Columbus’ local body that investigates complaints of discrimination. In addition, the Commission hosts annual events to educate the community about the various protected classes in order to prevent discrimination before it occurs.
