During these meetings, you can expect to establish a vision network, discuss prioritization and advise on policy recommendations. Everything will be in draft form, but we are excited to be working collaboratively with our partners and the public in creating Bike Plus.

Since summer 2023 the Bike Plus team has had over 6,800 engagement touchpoints through 88 outreach activities. During engagement, we heard about the top barriers to biking and rolling including fast-moving vehicle traffic, missing bikeways or trail/paths and concerns about personal safety.
When asked to identify specific areas in Columbus, streets that received the most comments regarding barriers included High Street, Indianola Avenue and Cleveland Avenue. The map below highlights areas where the most comments were received. The darker and thicker the line, the more comments the street received.
