President Pro Tem Dorans to Host Public Hearing on Progress of the Zone In Initiative

Who: Council President Pro Tem Rob Dorans Kevin Wheeler, Assistant Director for Growth Policy

Where: Gillie Senior Center 2100 Morse Rd. Columbus, OH 43229
What: Council President Pro Tem Rob Dorans, Chair of the Building and Zoning Policy Committee, will host a public hearing to hear updates on the progress of the Zone In initiative, including the identification of policy priorities based on research and community input. Zone In Columbus is a comprehensive effort to update our current zoning code. Zoning codes are a set of rules that regulate what can and can't be done on a particular piece of property. Zoning codes influence where we live, where we work and how we get around. You can learn more about the Zone In initiative here.
A presentation will be given by Kevin Wheeler, Assistant Director for Growth Policy. All interested residents are invited to attend the public hearings via WebEx or in person. The meetings will broadcast live on CTV, Columbus cable access channel 3; YouTube; and Facebook Live.
All interested residents are invited to offer public testimony via WebEx, or in person during the hearing. Requests for public and written testimony must be emailed to Kevin McCain at KBMccain@columbus.gov by 3:00pm on the day of the hearing. Each speaker's remarks are limited to three minutes or less.
