Columbus Recreation and Parks is moving to a more unified and streamlined approach for communication and marketing of our programs, specifically the Sports Office. As you hopefully have seen on our social media, the Sports Office pages will be archived at the end of the year and all sports related social media posts will be shared out on the Department's pages. Please like and follow Columbus Recreation and Parks on these platforms: Facebook | Twitter | Instagram
Also as a part of this unification, this newsletter—The Sports Report—will no longer be sent out. Updates on sports programming will be included in a new department-wide weekly update email. As with all communications through this system, you can update your preferences by using the options in the footer below.
The final piece to this will be combining CRPDSports.org website information into the new ColumbusRecParks.com. Our plan is to launch the new sports information on ColumbusRecParks.com beginning in 2022.
By unifying our web presence, we allow our users to become more connected with our department as a whole. Combining our sports community and the larger Columbus Recreation and Parks community allows us to simplify communications, saving time and resources.

As fall softball leagues wrap up and fall basketball and volleyball leagues hit the midway point of the season, we are already looking forward to the winter sports season!
Adult winter basketball and volleyball league offerings will be posted on Nov. 19 and registration opens on Dec. 3 at 10 a.m.. Space is limited in the winter so start organizing your teams today! Winter leagues begin on Jan. 3.
Lastly, we wanted to take a moment to thank all of our 2021 softball league participants. We had 1,215 total teams participate in leagues this year which is one of the best turnouts in recent memory. Thank you to all who participated and 2022 league information will be posted in the coming weeks!
