[COLUMBUS-OH] After considering 56 applications from a diverse array of residents to fill two 2019 vacancies on Columbus City Council, members selected 15 finalists for interviews. Based on the new City Charter rules put in place by voters, a public hearing will be held before appointing each new member.
Finalists for the Council vacancies (in alphabetical order) are:

EXECUTIVE SESSION INTERVIEW SCHEDULE
Council will hold special meetings for the sole purpose of adjourning into executive session to interview the finalists.
When: Monday, December 10, 2018, 9am Tuesday, December 11, 2018, 8am Tuesday, January 8, 2019, 8am
Where: City Hall Conference Room 225 90 W. Broad St.
A public hearing on the list of finalists being considered for the vacancy created by the departure of Councilmember Jaiza Page is scheduled for Thursday, January 10, 2019, at 5pm.
