NEW ONE-STOP SHOP NOW OPEN IN BEDFORD
Agency to serve variety of customer needs
COLUMBUS – Local and state officials today gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the new Cuyahoga County one-stop shop service location in Bedford, Ohio. Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) Registrar Charles Norman and Bedford Deputy Registrar Dave Lasky each had a hand in cutting the ribbon to celebrate the beginning of the business partnership between the agencies.
The agency is located in a new facility, offering one-stop shop services, including the driver license examination station, Deputy Registrar license agency, which issues Ohio driver licenses and state identification cards, as well as processing vehicle registration and other BMV services, and the Clerk of Courts Title Office. This location also offers the added benefit of the new “Get in Line, Online” virtual queuing system, which allows customers to "Get in Line, Online" and advance in the queue without physically waiting in the office.
“In all of our business decisions, we look to improve customer service and make our operations more efficient and innovative,” said Ohio BMV Registrar Charles Norman. “The combined services at this one location, along with the added benefit of the virtual queuing system, helps us to achieve these goals, which will go a long way to help all of us better serve our citizens.”
