(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine’s Fifth Annual Public Service Mock Trial Competition will take place this Friday, Nov. 17, in Columbus.
Teams of students from the following Ohio law schools will compete:
- Capital University Law School
- Cleveland-Marshall College of Law
- Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law
- The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law
- The University of Akron School of Law
- The University of Toledo College of Law
- University of Cincinnati College of Law
- University of Dayton School of Law
This year's competition revolves around a cyberbullying case problem that was released to the teams in September. The teams have been coached by experienced public-sector litigators from around the state. The competition is designed to provide a valuable learning experience for Ohio law school students and to expose them to public service careers.
The event is open to the public and members of the media.
