New Webinar for Employees: Workers' Compensation 101 (Including COVID-19 Information)
Employees have certain rights and benefits if they become injured or ill on the job. The Workers’ Compensation Board’s Advocate for Injured Workers will present a webinar on the basics of the workers’ compensation system, including new information you should be aware of regarding COVID-19.
In this one-hour presentation, you’ll learn the benefits under workers’ compensation; how to file a claim; and how to get help with your claim if needed. We’ll discuss COVID-19 and answer questions, too.
The session is free and presented in conjunction with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Registration is required: http://www.wcb.ny.gov/webinars/
Workers’ Compensation 101 Wednesday, July 15, 2020 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
