The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for Dutchess County, in effect until 8pm on Thursday. We encourage all residents to keep an eye on their elderly neighbors and any vulnerable populations. The Town of Wappinger has two cooling centers available for residents in need at the following locations:
1) Wappinger Town Hall - 20 Middlebush Road - 8:30am - 4:00pm 2) American Legion - 7 Spring St. - 8:00am - 6:00pm
