Register Now for the Virtual Delegates Meeting Early Registration Strongly Urged
Registration is now open for NYSTRS’ Virtual Delegates Meeting on Friday, Oct. 29. Registration is required and we strongly urge you to register today or Thursday in advance of the event. Doing so will ensure you receive the confirmation email containing the link you will need to join the event at 9 a.m. this Friday.
We also urge you to test your connection to our voting platform, Slido, before the event. Please see the instructions under the “User Guide & FAQs and Technical Requirements” heading below.
How to Register for the Meeting Via Webex:
1. Go to our registration page and click “Register” next to “Event Status.” Enter the required information. Important Note: Enter your school email address when registering (the email address to which this email was sent).
2. Upon your successful registration, you will receive a confirmation email from an official Webex email address, which contains the link to join on Friday. Be sure to save the confirmation email for easy access to the event!
User Guide & FAQs and Technical Requirements
Please refer to our User Guide & FAQs for assistance and important information regarding registering and joining the event. We suggest you access the meeting using a desktop or laptop for the optimal experience. Chrome is the preferred browser. Although other devices and platforms will work, they may not provide the optimal user experience.
Voting will be conducted through WebEx’s integrated voting platform, Slido. Please test the following link to confirm that you can access Slido: https://checkme.sli.do/. If that site is blocked, please ask your IT department to unblock the link as soon as possible. If your IT department has questions, please refer them to the Slido Troubleshooting Overview on page 9 of our Delegates Meeting User Guide & FAQs.
Other Important Meeting Information
- Refer to the meeting agenda on our website. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. but you will be able to access the Webex as early as 8:30 a.m.
- Review the Rules of Procedure on our website prior to the meeting. You will be voting to adopt these rules when the meeting begins.
