2021 Virtual Delegates Meeting

Thank you for serving as a NYSTRS delegate or alternate! We value your service in this important role.

Our 2021 Annual Delegates Meeting will be held virtually on Friday, Oct. 29 beginning at 9 a.m. The meeting will include an election of two Teacher Board Members, as well as informational presentations about the Retirement System. Please see the agenda on the Delegates > Annual Delegates Meeting page of our website at NYSTRS.org.

The meeting also includes an hour-long Q&A session with the Board and staff. To ensure we can answer as many questions as possible during the Q&A session, please submit your questions to us in advance via email to convdel@nystrs.org. The deadline for submitting questions is Friday, Oct. 1. Similar questions will be grouped together and answered thoroughly. Depending on the volume of questions received, it may not be possible to address every inquiry. For your reference, you can watch the 2020 Q&A session on our website.

In the coming weeks, we will provide you with additional meeting details, including the virtual platform on which you will access the meeting and a User Guide to ensure your access to the event is seamless.
