This link opens a fact sheet that invites public comment about an amended cleanup plan to address contamination related to Operable Units 1 & 2 of the Chemical Sales Corporation site #828086 (Gates, Monroe County) within New York’s State Superfund Program:
DEC is accepting public comments about the proposal through July 1, 2025.
DEC has also scheduled a public meeting on Monday, June 16, 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Town of Gates Town Board Meeting Room, 1605 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY 14624 to discuss the amended cleanup plan and accept public comments. Please see fact sheet for details about the proposed cleanup, meeting, and comment period.
