NYSDEC Announces Expedited Cleanup of Contamination Will Begin at State Superfund Site on Henry and S. Jay Sts., Rome; Public Invited to Availability Session

Field work for this expedited action, known as an "Interim Remedial Measure", is anticipated to start in October, 2019.

NYSDEC also has scheduled a public availability session on September 19, 2019 from 6:00PM - 7:00PM at South Rome Senior Center, 112 Ridge St., Rome, NY to discuss the upcoming cleanup and answer questions. Please see fact sheet for details about the availability session.
