Protect Yourself From Mosquitoes. Here's How...

MosquitoMosquitoes can be much more than just an annoyance. They can also be transmitters of several deadly diseases such as West Nile Virus and Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE).

Dress for Success: When venturing outdoors, especially from dusk until dawn when mosquitoes are most prevalent, protect yourself from mosquito bites by wearing long pants, long sleeved shirts, socks and a hat, and encourage others to do the same.

Insect Repellents: If you decide to apply an insect repellent, take caution! Learn more about using and choosing insect repellents. AND always read the product label.

Housekeeping: Take efforts to reduce the number of mosquitoes around the house.
•Install or fix window screens
•Install door sweeps or fix cracks and crevices where pest can enter
•Remove standing water in gutters, children's toys, bird baths, plant saucers, etc.
•Filter and treat pool water.
