Community Impact GrantsApplications for the latest round of Community Impact Grants are being accepted until July 9, 2018 at 3 p.m. DEC's Office of Environmental Justice offers Community Impact Grants to provide community-based organizations with funding for projects that address various environmental and public health concerns in low-income and minority communities that have historically been burdened by environmental problems. The goal of these grants is to empower stakeholders to be actively engaged in finding solutions to the disproportionate burdens EJ communities may experience. Applicants must apply through the New York State Grants Gateway. Vital BrooklynApplications for funding through the Vital Brooklyn Initiative will be accepted until July 20, 2018 at 3 p.m. Governor Cuomo announced the groundbreaking initiative to address chronic social, economic and health disparities in Central Brooklyn. This competitive grant program will assist not-for-profit and community-based organizations in funding green jobs training programs. Eligible applicants in designated Central Brooklyn assembly districts may apply via the New York State Grants Gateway. |
