Webinar - Climate Smart Communities Grant Program |
Friday, June 3, 2016 A new source of funding offered through the 2016 Consolidated Funding Application, the Climate Smart Communities Grant Program is a competitive 50/50 matching grant program for municipalities to conduct climate change adaptation or mitigation implementation projects, or to undertake eligible actions as part of a strategy to achieve Climate Smart Communities Certification. This webinar will provide an overview of the Climate Smart Communities Grant Program, including eligible applicants and project types, funding restrictions, scoring criteria, and special program requirements. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and get answers from grant program staff. In addition, the webinar will provide information on the Climate Smart Communities (CSC) Certification program, including how certification is supported through the Climate Smart Communities Grant Program, the benefits of certification, and how to get started.
