Pumpkin recycling

Recycle your pumpkins!

Remember, food scraps are one of the largest components of trash sent to landfills and incinerators. However, food scraps are not trash, they are a resource that can be turned into useful compost.

To dispose of your pumpkin, remove candles, lights plastic decorations and paint and bring them to the drop-off locations at D'Onofrio Park or Pinebrook Tennis Center.
