Ring in the New Year at Anderson Plaza in downtown New Rochelle with a special outdoor event starting at 8PM! Featuring live music, special guests, food and beverage vendors and a livestream of the ball drop from Times Square. Free admission.

Free 2-hour holiday parking continues through December 31
In continuation of both a holiday tradition and as a part of the overall efforts to promote holiday shopping in New Rochelle, the City is offering free two-hour parking in a number of municipal surface lots.

Sponsored by the Police Association of New Rochelle. Drop off donations of new unwrapped toys at NRPD Headquarters, 475 North Avenue, through December 23rd.

Holiday closings
In observance of the Christmas and New Year's holidays, City Hall and offices will be closed the following days:
Friday, December 22: CLOSED at 11:30AM
Monday, December 25- CLOSED
Friday, December 29: CLOSED AT 11:30AM
Monday, January 1: CLOSED

2024 DPW Collection Schedule and Guide now online
The new information and collection schedule is being mailed to homes this week and now available online.
REMINDER: The Department of Public Works will follow a holiday collection schedule the weeks of December 25 and January 1:
