TRAFFIC ADVISORY: North Ave Bridge overpass closed this weekend, 9PM Fri. night through 9AM Sat. morning

Emergency water main work by Veolia is scheduled for tonight with the potential of extending another day, 9PM Saturday through 9AM Sunday.

DETOUR: Southbound traffic on North Avenue will be detoured at Lockwood Avenue. Northbound traffic will be diverted to Garden Street, and Garden Street westbound traffic will make a mandatory left turn onto North Avenue south. Please observed posted detours and travel carefully in the area.

The rain couldn't dampen spirits at the 10th annual Street Fair. Thanks to the Grand Sponsor New Rochelle IDA, and sponsors New Rochelle Parks and Rec, Volunteer NY, New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce, New Rochelle Downtown BID, Aetna, News 12, Sustainable Westchester, Montefiore New Rochelle and Beechmont Tavern for their support, as well as City of New Rochelle Police, Fire, Public Works, Development, Finance, City Clerk and Public Information staff.

Monthly "Community Conversations" focus on substance abuse, mental health

Join neighbors for an educational evening that takes a proactive step in combatting substance abuse, addiction and mental health issues. “Community Conversations” will be held monthly through the end of the year. The first conversation will be held at Bracey Apartments on September 28.
