NRPD videos offer tips for a safe Halloween
Officer Nicole DeCarlo teamed up with fellow officers Anthony Sabatino and Maria Vasquez and Detective Melissa Diniz to create a video with the department's top safety tips for Halloween.
“Halloween is one of the most fun nights of the year for kids, and we want to be sure it’s a safe night as well,” said Police Commissioner Robert Gazzola.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage and Italian Heritage Months at City Hall
This month, the Office of Diversity & Inclusion featured two videos recognizing City staff and officials for Hispanic Heritage Month and Italian Heritage Month.

City and County officials joined with the Cappelli Organization to celebrate the grand opening of 3THIRTY3, a 28-story tower featuring 285 luxury apartments with world-class amenities plus high-end indoor and outdoor recreational spaces.

500 Main Street breaks ground
The 26-story, 477-unit, mixed-income residential complex in the downtown will deliver studios to two-bedroom units, approximately 24,000 square feet of amenity spaces, and will be the new home of the New York Covenant Church.119 units will be affordable.

Fall Youth Employment
Building on the tremendous success of its Summer Youth Employment program, the New Rochelle Youth Bureau has launched a similar program for six weeks during November and December. Open to youth and young adults ages 14-24.

Apply now for New Rochelle Youth Court- deadline extended
Students in grades 8 through 10 can apply for this collaborative program between the NR Youth Bureau, Bar Association, Police Departments from New Rochelle and Pelham, and the Westchester County Department of Probation that gives needed supervision to first-time offenders ages 7-17. Students will be trained to serve as judges, prosecutors, and defense attorneys handling cased diverted to them from the Westchester Family Court.

Volunteer grandpas wanted for a new intergenerational mentoring program matching granddads with New Rochelle boys and young men ages 8-21.

First-time Homebuyer Down Payment Assistance Program
Learn more about New Rochelle's generous program that provides financial assistance to low to moderate income first-time homebuyers.
A Spanish Information session will be held on November 4 (Co-op and Condo Informational session).
