First Annual 'Taste of Union Avenue' Saturday July 16

The City of New Rochelle Department of Development and the Hispanic American Advisory Committee present the First Annual Taste of Union Avenue. Enriching and fun activities including entertainment, live music, children’ s games, and arts and crafts, along with a variety of ethnic foods from all of Latin America. Union Avenue from First to Fourth Streets.

A free shuttle will run between the Transit Center Parking Garage and the event site.

Sound the alarm

Smoke detectors save lives. Get one free through Red Cross 

Smoke alarms save lives, and the City of New Rochelle is partnering with the American Red Cross “Sound the Alarm” program to bring free smoke alarms to those in need in our community. Summer Concert Series

FREE Summer Sounds Concert Series

The New Rochelle Council on the  Arts' Summer Sounds Concert Series will include 18 FREE concerts this summer at two venues: Hudson Park on Wednesdays and New Ro Parc (455 Main St) on Fridays. Food trucks will be on site!

International Music and Dance Festival at Ozzie Davis Theater- Tuesdays

The New Rochelle Public Library, New Rochelle Downtown Business Improvement District and The Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library are bringing back the renowned International Music and Dance Festival to downtown New Rochelle this summer. Each Tuesday evening, July 12 - August 16, at 7:00 pm, there will be a live performance in the Ossie Davis Theater at the New Rochelle Public Library, 1 Library Lane, New Rochelle. The six week festival offers a broad range of music and dance performances representing cultures from around the world. View calendar

COVID-19 vaccine update

The Westchester County Health Department is offering free pediatric Moderna COVID-19 vaccines this summer. The vaccine clinics will be held on Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon, by appointment only, for children ages six months to five years. The vaccine clinics will be held at the Health Department, 134 Court Street, White Plains
