The start of December brings several important programs and events for New Rochelle businesses.


Holiday Parking

Free 2-hour holiday parking in December to promote holiday shopping

In continuation of an annual tradition and to promote holiday shopping in New Rochelle, the City is offering two hours of free holiday parking in certain municipal lots from December 1-31, from 9AM to 9PM.

Last weekend for the Holiday Market!

Today's hours: 2-8pm | This weekend: 12-8pm  (Last day Sun. Dec 12)

New Rochelle is getting in the Holiday Spirit and pulling out all the stops with this new and festive Holiday Market in a charming Holiday Winter Village setting at the New Rochelle Train Station. Each day will feature festive Market attractions including swag bag giveaways; food samples; entertainment - DJs, local choirs, performers, children’s entertainment; free classes; Instagram booth and additional attractions. The fee applies to each paper carryout bag provided to a customer, even if the vendor does not sell any tangible personal property or service to a customer, and regardless of whether the tangible personal property or service sold is exempt from sales tax. Only sales tax vendors that sell tangible personal property in a jurisdiction where the fee is imposed must charge the fee. The paper bag fee is not included in any amount that is subject to sales tax but is collected in addition to any sales tax due on the transaction.

SBA Loan

SBA extends physical damage deadline for Hurricane Ida disaster in New York

Businesses and residents are eligible to apply for SBA’s low-interest Physical and Economic Injury Disaster Loans. The physical damage application deadline is extended to Jan. 4, 2022. Businesses can visit the Business Recovery Center in New Rochelle for more information or to apply.
