City Hall Offices return to appointment-only beginning Monday, August 16
In the interest of health and safety with COVID cases rising in our area, New Rochelle City Hall offices will move to appointment-only access beginning Monday, August 16. Appointments can be made by contacting departments directly during regular business hours, 8:30AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Masks will be required of all visitors regardless of vaccination status.
COVID vaccines are available and free
COVID vaccines are widely available at pharmacies and healthcare providers throughout New Rochelle, often without an appointment. The vaccine is safe, effective, and free – and you don’t need insurance.

It's hot out there- take a swim!
Hudson Park Beach is open every day, and entrance and parking are free for New Rochelle Parks Passport holders. Westchester County's Glen Island Park and Beach are also open.
NEW! Beginning Saturday August 14 through Labor Day, September 6, New Rochelle residents can swim at Westchester County's Willson's Waves Pool at Willson's Woods Park in Mount Vernon. The County has waived the park pass requirements and only the daily admission fee will be charged.

Mark your calendars for two great waterfront events: Friday, September 3 Spark the Sound fireworks by Grucci display at 9:30 PM, and Saturday, September 4 Lighted Boat Parade.at 8:30 PM.

Valet parking downtown on weekends

Valet parking makes it easy to visit downtown on weekends. From Thursday through Sunday, just pull up to the podium in the Library South parking lot located off Memorial Highway and valets will provide a virtual ticket, secure your keys and safely park your vehicle. Parking rates apply.

Summer Sounds concert series Wednesdays and Sundays in August
Come down to the Hudson Park Bandshell for music on the waterfront. Wednesday concerts preceded by Yoga in the Park, too.

-9/11 Weekend of Service Sept. 9-12, presented by Volunteer New York! and Westchester County. Iona College will be a local hub for projects.
-Memorial Unveiling Sept. 11 at Kensico Dam honoring first responders who lost their lives from 9/11-related illnesses
-9/11 20th Anniversary Candlelight Vigil and Interfaith Service Sept. 11 at City Hall. Volunteers wanted to place flags on August 24-26
-Unity Day Sunday, September 12: bringing together the community to celebrate youth. Featuring a Bikes and Badges Youth Bike Ride and Sports Celebration.
