P.A.C.T. The Police and Community Together (PACT) Unit interacts with local neighborhood, school, civic, youth and business organizations. Beat officers cover three zones- north, central and south- and the Unit sponsors numerous community programs during the year including Mentors in Blue, National Night Out and Coffee with a Cop. Community Contact Program

If a police officer has introduced himself or herself to you recently, there’s a reason.  It’s called “Community Contact,” a program that encourages all officers to proactively interact with residents and business owners.

About the program

Community-Police Partnership Board application deadline May 15 New Rochelle's Police Reform and Collaborative Plan, adopted in March, calls for the creation of a 13-member Community-Police Partnership Board, with seven members selected from the community. Apply by Saturday, May 15. Application information
