COVID-19 Vaccine Rollout is Underway

Safe and effective COVID vaccination has begun. As of yesterday, New Yorkers in Phase 1a and segments of 1b can make appointments. This now includes people age 65 and over. More information is available on the City's and State's websites.

Westchester Town Hall Series: An Open Conversation on COVID-19

Mayor Noam Bramson will join County Executive Latimer, doctors and leaders for a Facebook live event on Thursday, January 21 from 6-7 p.m. to answer any questions on the vaccine and more.

MLK VNY Opportunities

Martin Luther King Jr. Day Events 

The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Shabbat Service presented by the Inter-religious Coalition of New Rochelle will take place virtually on Friday, January 15 at 7pm. You can tune in on Temple Israel of New Rochelle's website or on their Facebook @TempleIsraelNR. 

On Saturday, January 16 at 10am, My Brothers Keeper New Rochelle will host a Virtual Membership Expo, bringing together 15 organizations to speak of local opportunities available. Register and learn more at MBK New Rochelle Mentoring Expo

The annual Volunteer New York! MLK Weekend of Service has been suspended this year. Instead, the community is invited to "break bread and break barriers" at two virtual events on Saturday and Sunday:

1/17 at 3pm: Virtual Sunday Supper

The wonderful partnership project of the New Rochelle Downtown Business Improvement District  New Rochelle Public Library and the City of New Rochelle will now continue for another two weeks-- until Monday January 18, 2021-- so that more families can enjoy the special STORYWALK® ® through the Downtown.
