The Operations Subcommittee of the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada has approved proposed changes to Standard Drawing 627 "Standard for "Double Penalties" Signs for Use in Temporary Traffic Control Zones", of the Uniform Standard Drawings for Public Works' Construction Offsite Improvements, Clark County Area, Nevada, to update the design and placement of the "Double Penalties in Work Zones" sign and better conform to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Comments are due by 1/31/12.
