INCIDENT: Motorcyclist Killed by Suspected Drunk Driver
North Las Vegas, Nevada – At about 3:28 a.m., on Saturday, October 12, 2013, dispatch received a report of fatal crash at Centennial Parkway and Decatur Rd. Arriving officers found a deceased 67-year-old North Las Vegas man in the roadway, the result of a crash with a car driven by 46-year-old Ronnie Bondoc, of North Las Vegas.
The preliminary investigation indicates Bondoc was travelling north on Decatur in a 2010 Toyota sedan when he impacted the back of the 2006 Yamaha motorcycle ridden by the other man. It does not appear Bondoc made any attempt to brake before impact
There is strong evidence that the crash is alcohol related. Bondoc was booked into the Las Vegas City Jail for DUI causing death and failure to obey a traffic control device. A booking photo will be released as soon as it is available
The identity and cause of death of the decedent will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s office.
