SUBJECT: Murder Suspect Arrested

North Las Vegas, NV – On the evening of May 14, 2013 Detectives arrested Jarom Boyes in connection with the murder of his wife in their North Las Vegas home.

On April 6, 2013 at about 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the 80 block of Whitetail Archery Avenue to the report of a suicide. They found a 24-year-old woman deceased from a single gunshot wound. It was reported that she shot herself following an argument with her husband. Evidence suggested that the woman died under suspicious circumstances and detectives continued investigating her death as a homicide.

The investigation revealed that the victim and her husband, Jarom Boyes, began arguing with each other while they were out with friends. When they returned home, the argument turned physical. Evidence suggests that during that physical altercation, Jarom allegedly shot his wife. Jarom Boyes was arrested for one count of murder with a deadly weapon. See attached booking photo.
