NORTH LAS VEGAS FAMILY TO RECEIVE

EMERGENCY HOLIDAY CHEER

 

 

 

North Las Vegas, Nevada – On Monday, December 24, Christmas Eve morning, a first alarm assignment will leave North Las Vegas Fire Station #52 and surprise the Mahew Family children with toys and holiday cheer. Lights and sirens will replace reindeer and bells, as Santa and his elves deliver toys to the Mahew Family. The Mahew Family was nominated by the school counselor at Tartan Elementary as part of the North Las Vegas Firefighters Christmas Family Program. Toys for the family were donated by the local community through a toy drive held by the Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation. The family recently moved to North Las Vegas from the St. Louis area, and is having a difficult time finding employment.

 

We invite the media to be part of the spirit of the holidays.
