We are excited to announce the City of North Las Vegas will unveil the work of Graffiti Park LLC at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10 at the Neighborhood Recreation Center, 1638 N. Bruce Street. Join Ward 1 Councilman Isaac Barron, Grafifiti Park, LLC artists and community members for a ribbon-cutting and meet-and-greet to mark the occasion!
The murals can be enjoyed from the adjacent Hartke Park, which was reconstructed by the City and reopened in 2021. Neighborhood Recreation Center offers a variety of recreational activities and programs for all ages. The center includes a fitness facility, neighborhood café and more! Graffiti Park is a coalition of more than 150 Las Vegas artists dedicated to developing unique, sustainable opportunities for the creation of ambitious art projects in local communities by promoting collaboration over competition. For more information, visit graffitipark.org.

The Amp at Craig Ranch kicks off 2022 concert series with Cedric the Entertainer
The Amp at Craig Ranch in North Las Vegas has announced the first artists slated to perform in its 2022 concert series. Located inside Craig Ranch Regional Park with seating capacity up to 6,800, The Amp is Southern Nevada’s only large-scale outdoor amphitheater.
This exciting lineup of concerts planned is going to transform The Amp into the region’s premier outdoor entertainment venue. From comedy to 90’s throwbacks, indie rock and more, The Amp is sure to bring great artists to our community and entertainment for all ages and all walks of life. Check out these upcoming concerts:

Cedric is best known for co-starring with Steve Harvey on The WB sitcom The Steve Harvey Show, as one of The Original Kings of Comedy, and for starring as Eddie Walker in Barbershop. He hosted the 12th season of the daytime version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire in 2013-14 and starred in the TV Land original series The Soul Man, which aired from 2012 until 2016. Previously, he hosted BET’s ComicView during the 1993-94 season and Def Comedy Jam in 1995.

Did you know the City of North Las Vegas has given out over $9 million in rental assistance to those who are experiencing financial hardships due to COVID-19 through the CARES Housing Assistance Program (CHAP)?
