Denny’s is open!
Who else is ready for a Grand Slam Breakfast? The new Downtown North Las Vegas Denny's in Fiesta Plaza on Lake Mead started welcoming guests this past Friday during its "soft opening.” Denny’s is our latest sit-down dining option in North Las Vegas and part of our larger (and growing!) downtown redevelopment efforts. It also represents fantastic work by our Economic Development team and all our other departments and team members who make permits, entitlements and all the other pieces that go into development and progress possible! Stay tuned because we’ll have more to come in 2022!

USA Luge Olympics
I had a blast hanging out with Olympian Aidan Kelly who taught kids how to ride a street luge board in North Las Vegas! The team was out looking for future Olympians right here in our own backyard. I even had a chance to try street luging myself! It was so much fun riding down the hill at that speed.

Yours in service,
Councilwoman Pamela Goynes-Brown
