Hello neighbors,
I am thrilled to officially welcome Tapestry to the City of North Las Vegas! The leading New York-based house of modern luxury accessories and lifestyle brands including Coach, Kate Spade New York and Stuart Weitzman, announced the groundbreaking of its new fulfillment center in North Las Vegas, which is expected to add over 400 full-time jobs by 2029! We are all delighted that Tapestry chose North Las Vegas as the location for their state-of-the-art fulfillment center. North Las Vegas has a proven track record of recruiting and attracting cutting-edge industry leaders who are also good corporate citizens, and through their purpose-led and people-centered philosophy, Tapestry is already making a positive impact in our community as the company expands into the City.

Lake Mead West Apartments break ground in North Las Vegas
I am also excited to announce that we just broke ground on Lake Mead West Apartments, a new affordable housing complex that will include wraparound services for low-income families. The apartment complex is being developed in partnership with the Nevada Housing Division and private companies Foresight Companies and investor Red Stone.
The property includes a children's park, dog park, community pool, computer learning lab and meeting space for resident services and activities. Among some of the wraparound services included are health care, a food pantry, after-school programs for students and more.
We are constantly looking for innovative solutions like this public-private partnership that benefit our residents. With 156 units, Lake Mead West Apartments will most definitely become a welcome partner in addressing this important need in our community!
