With the continued rise in COVID-19 cases here in Nevada, Governor Sisolak has signed an emergency directive once again requiring masks in indoor public spaces. As a reminder, you'll see signs like the one below posted at the entrance to businesses around the valley.

All the best paths are taken by foot
I’m pleased to announce that we are one of only four Nevada recipients (and the only one in the Las Vegas valley!) to be awarded the AARP Community Challenge Grant for small, shovel-ready projects that make communities more livable for people of all ages.
With this “quick-action” grant, we will install benches at Valley View Park, Joe Kneip Park, Boris Park, and the Bruce and Owens Pollinator Habitat Garden. The benches will be installed along pathways within the parks, along sidewalks, and near activity courts as part of the City’s "all the best paths are taken by foot” initiative which promotes 10-minute walks to community destinations.
Bulk pick up
Do you know when your bulk trash pickup days are? The City of North Las Vegas and Republic Services want to remind you that you can leave those bulky items out on the curb for pickup that do not fit in your trash can. Click here to find out which day is your bulk pickup day.
How have you been affected by the pandemic?
