Results of Joining Forces Event #14

North Las Vegas, Nevada – On Monday, July 22, 2019, through Sunday, August 4^th, 2019, officers of the North Las Vegas Police Department (NLVPD) conducted traffic enforcement saturation patrols as part of Joining Forces #14 Distracted Driving Event. As a result of this Joining Forces traffic enforcement event, officers made approximately 145 traffic stops, and issued approximately 170 misdemeanor citations, and 31 warnings.

Speeding- 68

Distracted Driving- 31

Driver’s License violations – 16

No Insurance – 13

Registration Violation- 8

Seat Belt/Child Seat – 7

Red Light - 4

Failure to yield- 2

Pedestrian at Fault - 2

All Other Citations - 19
