Homicide Investigation
North Las Vegas, Nevada – A man is dead following an overnight shooting in North Las Vegas.
On Saturday, August 27, 2016 at about 11:45 p.m. officers responded to the 3000 block of Las Vegas Boulevard North regarding a shooting. Arriving officers located a 31-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to UMC in critical condition. The victim died later that morning.
The preliminary investigation indicates there was an argument in the parking lot of a business which escalated into gunfire. The suspect(s) fled the scene prior to police arrival and there is no one in custody at this time. This is an ongoing investigation and detectives are not prepared to release suspect information at this time.
