Upcoming road work to improve North Las Vegas streets
North Las Vegas, Nevada — Road work is scheduled to begin later this month on two North Las Vegas streets.
The northbound lanes of Black Oaks Street from Centennial Parkway into the Eldorado Community will be closed from Aug. 8 through Aug. 19. The southbound lanes will remain open for residents traveling in and out of the development.
The contractor for the utility and street improvement project is Western States.

Additionally, storm drains, utility infrastructure and roads will be upgraded and improved around the intersection of Ann Road and Bruce Street from Aug. 15 through Aug. 26 as part of a City of North Las Vegas Capital Improvement Project.
The contractor is Meadow Valley.
