Results of Pedestrian Safety Events July
North Las Vegas, Nevada – As part of a Pedestrian Safety Grant made possible by The Office of Traffic Safety, one Sergeant and eleven Officers from the North Las Vegas Police Department conducted a Pedestrian Safety Enforcement on July 29th, 2016, in hopes of reducing fatalities and serious injuries to pedestrians. Throughout the course of the event, officers made approximately 156 traffic stops, and issued 177 citations and 28 warnings.
