SUBJECT: School Teacher Arrested in Lewdness Investigation

North Las Vegas, Nevada – A Clark County School District teacher’s aide from Sedway Middle School has been arrested in connection with a lewdness investigation involving a student.

On June 2, 2015, detectives were notified of a case involving inappropriate conduct between 29-year-old Charles Young and a student. Allegations were made that Young had inappropriate contact with a 15-year-old boy off campus in January, 2015.

On August 21, 2015, the investigation led detectives to make contact with Young. Young was arrested and booked at the Las Vegas City Jail on one count of luring a minor with a computer for sex acts and one count of open and gross lewdness.
