"Sense & Sensibility" is a fast-paced, witty adaptation of Jane Austen's beloved novel, brought to life by playwright Kate Hamill. This approximately 70-minute production follows the Dashwood sisters, Elinor and Marianne, as they navigate love, heartbreak, family obligations and societal expectations in Regency-era England. Filled with sharp humor, inventive storytelling and heartfelt moments, the play celebrates the resilience of its heroines while exploring the challenges of balancing reason and emotion. The show is directed by Erica Griffin.
The core of the Rainbow Company Youth Theatre is its Ensemble of 38 dedicated students, ages 10 to 18, selected yearly by application and audition. The ensemble members work in all aspects of each production – costumes, makeup, sets, lights, sound and backstage crew – under the tutelage of professional directors and designers.
The Rainbow Company Youth Theatre is a nationally acclaimed, award-winning youth theatre group.
