Thursday-Saturday, 7 p.m.
October 22, 23 & 24
Sammy Davis Jr. Festival Plaza in Lorenzi Park
720 Twin Lakes Drive
Free and open to the public.
This is Shakespeare’s fierce farce about gender roles and materialism. Every performance of this explosive battle of the sexes quickly goes from bad to utterly disastrous as Petruchio tries to “tame” the sharp-tongued Katherine. It’s a play within a play…within a play, where the play's the thing! You’ve never seen a show this bad be so good.
Recommended for ages 10 and older. No glass containers or pets, please.
