Las Vegas City Council To Recognize Citizen Of The Month
Community Partners To Also Be Honored
The Las Vegas City Council will recognize the October 2026 Citizen of the Month at the Oct. 7, 2026, City Council meeting that will begin following the 8:30 a.m. Redevelopment Agency meeting in Council Chambers on the second floor of Las Vegas City Hall, located at 495 S. Main St.
Ward 4 Councilwoman Francis Allen-Palenske will recognize the October 2026 Citizen of the Month, Yamile Landrain. Landrian is a behavioral health administrator with the city of Las Vegas Department of Public Safety. She is a dedicated counselor committed to fostering healthier relationships and promoting personal growth.
In addition, Mayor Pro Tem Olivia Diaz will recognize several local media outlets that have been community partners on many Ward 3 events, including Telemundo Las Vegas, Fiesta 98.1 FM and La Campesina 96.7 FM.
The council meeting will be broadcast live on city of Las Vegas TV, and on the city of Las Vegas TV YouTube channel.
